According to the educational policy of Maharashtra Government, new art teachers are not appointed in aided, Z.P. (primary) schools (1st to 7th Std), from the
city or in rural areas. As a result, these students are kept away from the world of art during the transformative years.
They never learn fundaments art. subjects like lines, colors, textures, claywork, photography, paper crafting and traditional handicrafts. Then how will they ever experience the various forms of traditional & modern Indian and international art?
That is why, for these poor students from city, Z.P.schools (outside of city), residential schools, ashram schools, orphanages etc. we organize various endeavors With the help of Education for Creativity.
We organize an array of workshops, lectures, art-fairs,art-book exhibitions. Our goal is to enlighten the students, teachers and to the world of art.
The Chitrapatang shaikshanik kala sanstha is a Registered institute of Mumbai, Maharashtra. We are playing a small role in the propagation of visual art to
these students from 2012.
